Offers easy access to HIV testing that does not need a physician or nurse practitioner referral or signed requisition form. Results are available 2 weeks after the test and are provided to individuals directly. Individuals who test positive will be contacted by a nurse who will provide support, education, follow-up care, and referral to a physician when needed. Individuals who test negative will not be contacted but may confirm a negative result by calling the health outreach nurse toll-free line.
